Do you understand yourself? Do you know how you function? Are you aware of the inner laws that govern your thinking, your feelings, and your actions? Most people only engage with these questions when they reach their limits — in relationships, at work, through fears or compulsions, or when they are affected by physical ailments and illness.
Illness in particular often leads us to the fundamental questions of our lives. Where does my illness come from? Why am I sick? These are questions that virtually every person plagued by pain asks themselves. Many also ask in desperate situations: "Why me?" — or, when a loved one suffers from a serious illness and perhaps even dies: "Why them and not me?"
My name is Dr. Horst Müller. For 22 years I have been practicing as a specialist in ear, nose and throat medicine in Weinheim. I consider it a decisive part of my work as a physician to get to the root of how illnesses arise. My insights come from contact with patients — from many thousands of individual consultations.
There is a law that applies equally to all people in the world. We are all dependent on what we "take in" — both physically and mentally. In my lectures and in my book I describe this "Law of Life." When we study it, we recognize not only the general cause of illness, but also the reason for the striving for power, for fear, and all self- and other-destructive behavior that originates from the innermost part of a human being.
The understanding of what unconsciously determines a person simultaneously points the way to the solution — how illness, compulsion, and conflict can cease. In my many conversations it has invariably shown that we human beings always carry one and the same fundamental conflict within our subconscious. Because there is only one root cause, we need only one solution to be freed from all our troubles — and to attain lasting healing from our illnesses.
I wish you joy and insight as you watch the lectures and study the book. And I wish you strength and courage for the necessary steps to become free from the cause of your pain and suffering.
